Last-minute reminder for Week 3 (June 28, 2013)

In order to facilitate a quick turn-around for those who are presenting their group lectures using Powerpoint slides, kindly send a copy of your PPTs not later than 7:00 PM tonight (Friday, June 28) to my e-mail address.  Please do take note that each group is allotted a maximum of fifteen (15 minutes) to present their lectures and respond to questions from the class.

Reminders for Week 3 (June 29, 2013)

1.  Take-Home S.Q. #2 - Based on the discussion in "Gartner: Top 10 Key Technology Trends for 2013", summarize all the ten (10) key technology trends in / under three (3) to four (4) areas.  (Please write your answers in an official FEU quiz / test booklet.)

2.  Assignment #1 (for extra credit) - What operating system (OS) does not support real-time monitoring of mission-critical applications?  (Please write your answer in an official FEU quiz / test booklet.  You may submit your answer for Assignment #1 together with your answers for Take-Home S.Q. #2.)

3.  Take note of your assigned topics for the Group Presentations scheduled during class time:  (You may prepare Powerpoint slides for these.)

Initial instructions regarding Reaction Paper #1 (which is due on July 6) have been sent to your respective e-mails, except for two students, whose respective Yahoo! accounts appear to be non-existent.  My e-mail to you two bounced and I received the following messages:

Welcome to the blogs for the course "Trends in Information and Communications Technology (ICT)", a subject which is currently offered in Far Eastern University - Manila as part of its BS Applied Mathematics with Information Technology curriculum.   Specifically, this particular blog is for students enrolled during 1st Semester of SY 2013-2014.
